卡拉扬是世界上最有影响力的指挥家,是世界上最优秀的乐团柏林爱乐乐团的终身指挥。音乐界为纪念卡拉扬诞辰100周年,将2008年定为卡拉扬年。卡拉扬自幼最大的梦想就是当指挥,如帝王般指挥千军万马,他的一生却比梦想还要疯狂和绚烂,令人赞叹不已。卡拉扬宠爱动物,他养有爱犬特雷夫,他常以猫做比喻:“你绝不会看见它扑空”。
