2001年7月23日,江苏省盱眙县殡仪馆,人头攒动。没发讣告,没有通知,许许多多认识的、不认识的人们闻讯后相继涌来,有党政领导、普通市民,也有乡村百姓。沉重的哀乐在一遍遍地回响,近千名干部群众、公安民警、联防队员自发地来到县殡仪馆,在默默地为盱眙县公安局管镇公安分局民警杨兆洲同志送行。一个平凡民警的平凡一生,为什么会引起了这么多人的追思与悲痛?
