问:在上一讲中,我已经明白了因特网的功能和用途。那么,上网的费用如何计算?上网前应该做哪些准备?答:电脑可以通过电话网、专用网联接因特网,但对于个人和一般小单位使用最多的方法就是采用电话拨号方式联接因特网。因为这种方式上网所需的“门票”价格低、路由(上网的路线和方法)简捷。1.“门票”——上网的费用我国向社会正式提供商业性因特网业务的有中国因特网(CHINANET)和吉通公司的金桥网(CHINAGBN)等,其中CHINANET是我国邮电部门主办的,办过入网手续的单位和个人用户都可以通过电话拨打“163”或“169”号码登录上网,网上使用费用根据每月使用时间而定,通常有10小时20元、30小时50元等标准(各地还有所差别),晚9点以后为半费。上网的电话费按市话(每次3分钟)另外计算。
