苗得雨同志从一九四四年十二、三岁开始写诗,已走过了近四十年的创作道路。在抗日战争和解放战争的艰苦岁月里,曾写了许多反映沂蒙山区人民群众斗争生活的诗篇,当时被誉为“孩子诗人”。解放后一直从事专业创作和编辑工作,先后辛勤地创作了上千篇诗文,出版了十几个集子。他的诗,是从肥沃的沂蒙山的土地上生长起来的一株壮苗,它产生于火热的斗争,又服务于火热的斗争,深受广大群众(尤其是农民群众)的欢迎,并具有自己鲜明的艺术特色。下面结合他的创作道路略作分析。
