在英语翻译实践中,变译方法越来越受到译界的重视,变译求特效,变译针对读者的某种特定需要,采取有针对性的变译方式。公示语在公众生活中具有重要的意义,其面对的是所有民族,又由于公示语的特征与功能,翻译公示语时就需要考虑到文化、语言、思维等因素。而变译理论的运用为公示语翻译提供了有效地方法。
