为防止铸铁件粘砂,往往在湿型砂中加入煤粉,而煤粉中真正起防粘砂作用的亮碳,却仅含有8-12%,其余为无用的焦炭残留物(57-65%)和灰分(4-9%),这些残留物不仅有害于型砂性能,而且恶化了铸造车间的劳动条件铸铁车间50%灰尘是由煤粉残留物组成,所以近几年来国内外开展湿型中煤粉代用材料的研究和应用.辽阳综合利用研究所于78年首创研究成功无规聚丙烯乳液代替煤粉,经过一年来的生产试用,于1979年12月8-10日在辽阳召开无规聚丙烯铸件光亮剂应用技术经验交流会,参加会议的代表来自全国十个省市,三十五个单位四十五人.
