Based on the data from 1993 to 2007 in the Pearl River Delta, the Haixi District, the Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai Bay Region, the most concentrated foreign direct investment in China, this paper analyzes the aggregate and technical effects of foreign direct investment on the wage levels in the four regions. Measurement results show that the size of its influence is related to the organic composition of foreign direct investment and the labor force structure of the host country. In the Pearl River Delta and Hercynian regions, the effect of foreign direct investment with low organic composition on wages is negative. In the Yangtze River Delta region, the effect of foreign direct investment with a slightly higher organic capital structure on wages is a slight positive trend. In the Bohai Bay region, the total foreign direct investment (FDI) with a high organic capital structure showed a significant positive effect on the total wage. In terms of technical effects, FDI attracted a high degree of organic composition contributed significantly to the promotion of economic growth in the Pearl River Delta and Hercynian The increase in labor remuneration in the region is a weak positive impact on the Yangtze River Delta region and can not yet be a favorable factor for the Bohai Bay region.
