我校第六屆科学报告討論会于校庆(11月12日)正式开始到月底这期间进行。今年理科各系提出的論文数目共120篇比去年增加了大約4％,根据目前对論文的初步审查情况反映,論文质量也普遍比去年提高。其中有些論文水平較高,各系提出的論文計,数学16篇,物理22篇,化学21篇,生物46篇,地理24篇。論文絕大部分是基础理論研究,但其中同农业生产有較大关系的論文也不少,有16篇論文討論到农业生产、农作物生长发育等方面的問題。在論文中也反映了有些学科采用了新的技术,例如生物科学中有些工作使用厂示踪原子的技术,生物系教师还同广州市生产单位的技
The 6th Scientific Symposium of Our University was officially held from the 12th (November 12) to the end of this month. A total of 120 papers submitted by faculties and departments of science this year have increased by about 4% over last year. According to the current preliminary examination of theses, the quality of the papers is generally higher than that of last year. Some of them have a high level of thesis. Among them, 16 papers are maths, 16 maths, 22 physics, 21 chemistry, 46 biology and 24 geography. Most of the papers are basic theoretical researches, but there are also many papers which have a great relationship with agricultural production. There are 16 papers discussing agricultural production and crop growth and development. In the paper also reflects the use of new technologies in some disciplines, such as the use of tracer atoms in some of the work in the biological sciences, and the teachers in the Department of Biology also work with the technical units of Guangzhou
