上期本刊發表了侶云同志的“对高三代数課本中一个練習題的意見”后,有陸超,謝大祺,王裕灏,張祿度等諸同志來信提出不同的意見,本刊的編輯委員会讓我來答复,现就我个人的看法談一下。所有的來信都同意那練習題中“恆等式”的說法是錯誤的;同时都認为不宜用三角函数式來运算,因为,如陸謝等同志所指出的,复数开方的“主根”定义是有問題的(若用侶云同志的定义,書上244題又成問題了,因-i不能算作i的“主”立方根);而且,如王同志所指出的,原題的解答是建立在学習复数的三角函数式之前的理論基礎上的,这些意見我認为是正确的。
