《答韦中立论师道书》的几处译文是值得商榷的。一、“幸大雪踰岭,被南越中数州。”高中语文教学参考书编者译为:“幸运地,大雪越过五岭……”这里,把“幸”译为“幸运地”是不妥的。似应将“幸”译为“遇到”。二、“则固僵仆烦馈,愈不可过矣。”编者译为:“那么本来就僵硬地仆倒,……”。把“僵仆”仅译为“僵硬地仆倒”过于呆板,不能体现作者的本意。柳宗元给韦
Several translations of “A Wei Zhongli on the Shi Dao” are debatable. First, “Fortunately, the snow is over Ling, and it is counted in southern Vietnam.” The editor of the high school language teaching reference book translates as: “Fortunately, snow fell over five ridges...” Here, it is not appropriate to translate “lucky” into “lucky”. . It seems that “lucky” should be translated as “encountered.” Second, “then you can’t be too busy,” the editors translated. “Then you’ve already fallen down stiffly...”.
