March 24, 1992 (Beijing time), FIFA and the 1994 World Cup of the United States in New York announced the organizing committee of the 15 World Cup hosts nine cities and stadiums. The nine host cities and stadiums are: Foxborough Stadium, located between Boston and Providence, Mass., To accommodate 61,000 spectators. The Cotton Bowl Stadium, located in the center of Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, holds 72,000 spectators. Soldiers stadium located in Chicago, Lake Michigan, can accommodate 66,814 spectators. American Football Association headquarters are also located in this city. Silver Dome is located in Michigan Pontiac, Michigan, 30 km away, can accommodate 72,794 spectators.
