The Japanese soldiers who used their hands and pulled flatbed cars in the streets were everywhere. They are out of fashion, look depressed, mostly in cleaning rubbish. When I saw the Chinese soldiers, I stood upright and raised my hand salute. The former Japanese Imperial Army has become the remnants of defection, so I am very touched.
