After more than 20 years of research, Yunnan Tin Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as YTC) put forward the etiological hypotheses such as “the cause of arsenic,” “the cause of caries,” “iron, aluminum, strontium and cadmium,” and “the living standards and habits.” Chemical drug intervention trials have achieved remarkable results in prevention and treatment of lung cancer in Yunnan Tin. This article evaluates the occupational hazards and discusses the occurrence and death of lung cancer and the outbreak in high-risk populations.
