§1.问题的提出研究物理现象的方法有两种。一种纯粹从理论着手,即按现象的机理,列出微分方程式,然后解此微分方程式,代入单值条件,就可求得表征该个别现象的未知物理量。另一种纯粹从实验着手,即取实验条件符合于单值条件,而测定表征该个别现象的未知物理量。两种方法各有其优缺点。第一种方法的优点是问题若能解决,则其解答具有普遍的意义;缺点是往往因数学知识不够,而不能解出微分方程式。第二种方法的优点是可不依赖数学知识,终归可以求得欲
§1. Propositions There are two ways to study physical phenomena.
