建立古代东北第一个民族政权的夫余人生活在乌裕尔河流域。夫余人在公元前2世纪建立了民族政权,公元483年被高句丽所灭。乌裕尔河属嫩江水系,发源于小兴安岭山地,由上游的柳毛河、鸡爪河及东轱轳滚河汇集而成,全长576公里。“乌裕尔”系女真语,低洼地或涝洼地之意。从近年的考古发现中得知,在乌裕尔河流域有着大量的史前遗存,金代著名的蒲峪路故城遗址也在乌裕尔河南岸。远古时期的繁荣顺流而下,我们捡拾起河道边上的石器和陶片,感受着人类历史的厚重与辉煌。
