本刊2001年第6期报道了太原北齐墓墓道壁画。目前,该墓过洞和天井的发掘与壁画的清理已基本结束,主墓室没能在最初估计的时间打开。发掘者正致力于出土壁画的越冬保护工作。该墓的过洞和天井长约5.5米,其地面保持与墓道相同的坡度向下延伸。两侧壁上壁画灿然,其内容和形式都是墓道壁画的延续,仍为仪仗队列。新发现原大的鞍马形象6匹,分4种颜色,造型简练,生动传神。34个人物服饰鲜明,表情各异,出现了该墓第一个正面人物头像和胡人形象以及墓道里没有的淡黄色。
