丹东港大东港区,自1982年可行性研究以来于88年7月建成3#泊位投入营运生产,目前进港铁路已建成并投入运行;到1994年又将有三万吨级泊位交付使用,1993年6月14日下午15时30分“辽民一号” 客轮满载300余名乘客从大东港启程,踢波踏浪驶向山东烟台,从此结束了丹东市区50余年不通海上客运的历史,为更好掌握利用当地潮汐规律和气象条件,充分发挥大东港码头的利用率,增加经济效益,特撰本文供有关部门参考。
