近期佳能发布了大变焦数码相机新品 PowerShot S2 IS,佳能大变焦数码相机的历史可以追溯到4年以前,2001年2月佳能推出了配备10倍光学变焦镜头和 IS 影像稳定器的 PowerShot Pro90IS;2004年初,佳能在保留10倍光学变焦功能基础上发布了 PowerShot S1 IS,那款机器单反风格的机身、IS 防抖功能、USM 马达等亮点吸引了众多目光,但是300万有效像素的 CCD不得不说是一个小败笔,现在像素更高、变焦范围更大、动态短片等功能更丰富的 PowerShotS2 IS 作为其升级产品推向计了场,自然非常吸引眼球。
