2014年5月11日,受文化部派遣,由我担任团长的中国书画家代表团一行十人赴巴基斯坦,出席“牵手2014——中国巴基斯坦文化交流展览”开幕式活动。从乌鲁木齐飞往伊斯兰堡三个小时,途经一座城市稍作停留。当我们一行出机场时,巴基斯坦新闻广播遗产部的代表和中国驻巴基斯坦大使馆文化处官员陈思敏已经在门口迎接我们的到来。当我们到外面乘车时,看到两名军警挎着枪在我们的车旁等候着,这也是出于安全考虑,文化部与巴方事先商定的接待条件之一。此后,这辆警车便形影不离地保卫着我们。
On May 11, 2014, a delegation of Chinese calligraphy and painting artists who were sent by the Ministry of Culture and headed by me headed to Pakistan to attend the opening ceremony of “Hand in Hand 2014 - Pakistani Cultural Exchange Exhibition”. From Urumqi to Islamabad for three hours, a stop through a city.
