在全球任何一个有航线的大洋、世界上任何一个大港口,“COSCO”都是一个令全球华人自豪的品牌,其前身中国远洋运输公司是新中国最早的远洋运输专业公司,也是国内最大的国际航运企业。 1993年2月16日,以中国远洋运输公司为核心,整合中国外轮代理总公司、中国汽车运输总公司、中国船舶燃料供应总公司等骨干企业,组建成立了中国远洋运输集团。从此中远集团进入了改革创新发展的快车道。

Its predecessor, China Ocean Shipping Company, is the earliest company specialized in ocean shipping in New China and also the largest international Shipping companies. February 16, 1993 to China Ocean Shipping Company as the core, the integration of China Shipping Agency Corporation, China Motor Transport Corporation, China Shipbuilding Fuel Supply Corporation and other key enterprises, set up the establishment of China Ocean Shipping Group.
