We used a monoclonal antibody specific for anti-Cysticercus cellulosae antigen (CCy1) and established a monoclonal antibody-inhibitory ELISA for the determination of circulating antigen (CAg) in patients with cysticercosis. Determination of sensitivity ng level. The positive rate of CAg in 83 patients with cysticercosis was 71.1%. Its range is 0.16-128 μg / ml. In 41 patients with cysticercosis, serum and cerebrospinal fluid in the determination of CAg. The total positive rate of single or two positives was 90.2%. Cerebrospinal fluid of 114 normal human sera, 107 other parasite disease patients (including 30 echinococcosis patients), and 10 non-parasitic disease patients had a CAg of zero. Twenty-three patients with cysticercosis were treated for six months to one year and 21 had zero antigen concentrations. The other two cases were 0.64μg / ml and 1.6μg / ml respectively. This shows that the determination of CAg can not only determine the activity of Cysticercus infection, but also test the curative effect.
