Objective To understand the prevalence of HIV infection in unpaid blood donors in Zhuzhou City, and to analyze the correlation between HIV screening and confirmatory test results. Methods Blood samples from blood donors in Zhuzhou Blood Center from October 2008 to May 2015 were preliminarily screened by double double blind method and HIV positive samples were tested by any HIV positive screening test , Statistics of HIV positive rate, and analysis of the correlation between screening and confirmatory test results. Results A total of 397 HIV positive cases were detected in 230 882 unpaid blood donors during the study period, of which 45 were positive by both ELISA tests and 80% (36 cases) of 45 double-positive ELISA specimens were positive and 13.3% (6 ) Confirmed that the test results were uncertain, 6.67% (3 cases) confirm the test negative; another ELISA ELISA single positive samples positive test confirmed positive. Conclusion There is a significant positive correlation between the two reagents and the positive confirmatory test, and the higher S / CO value indicates the possibility of positive HIV antibody.
