On the afternoon of March 24, our reporter interviewed Aziz, former Pakistani Prime Minister and director of the Boao Forum for Asia, at the BFA Information Center and presented him with the latest edition of China’s Ocean Shipping Magazine. Aziz said it learned from media reports that China COSCO Shipping Group was established. He believes that the birth of the shipping flagship is an important strategic move by China’s shipping industry to help cope with the current global economic downturn. As for the Belt and Road Initiative, Aziz believes that China and Pakistan are big powers and small powers. China is strong while Pakistan is weak, but the two countries are friendly neighbors. Pakistan recently gained a lot from the “One Belt, One Road” construction, especially in the trade
