汉语中词字的意义与中国传统文化一样意蕴十分丰富,仅就“道”字常用的意义而言,《辞海》中就列了15种义项,既指道路或水流通行的途径,又指方向、方法、法则、规律、道理、道德,还代表学术或宗教的思想体系。“道”可以指事物的本质和规律,而在传统文化体系中“道”还是一种非常玄妙的人生观,在中国历史上“道”形成了自己的一种宗教,即道教。“茶道”一词,既可以指茶的采造煮饮方法和技艺,又可以指通过茶事活动所反映的有关思想、理念及宗教性观念,这里的“道”即茶事过程中所贯彻的精神。所以,“茶道”即茶中之道,既是法规,又是理念。 “茶道”一词最早见于唐代的文献记载。唐·封演《封氏闻见记》:“楚人陆鸿渐为茶论。说茶之功效。并煎茶炙茶之法。造茶具二十四事。以都统笼贮之。远近倾慕。好事者家藏一副。有常伯熊者。又因鸿渐之论广润色之,于是茶道大行。王公朝士无不饮者。”相关的
