随着以电子计算机为中心的信息处理装置的发展,对显示技术提出了更高的要求。数字显示装置已在可放在桌上的小型电子计算机和计数器等方面广泛应用。其需求日渐增多。历来的数字显示多半是利用冷阴极放电显示管。为了适应更广泛的使用要求,研制了具有各种特点的显示装置,如荧光显示管,白炽条状显示管及利用等离子放电、场致发光、液晶等的显示装置。
With the development of electronic computer-centric information processing devices, higher demands are placed on display technologies. Digital display devices are widely used in small electronic computers and counters that can be placed on a desk. Its demand is increasing. Historically the figures show mostly cold cathode discharge tubes. In order to meet the wider application requirements, display devices having various characteristics have been developed, such as fluorescent display tubes, incandescent strip display tubes, and display devices using plasma discharge, electroluminescence, liquid crystal, and the like.
