Objective To understand the results of health examination of on-the-job radiographers in Yangzhou and analyze the effect of low-dose ionizing radiation on the health of radiographers. Methods A total of 1 724 on-site radiologists performed routine blood tests, lens abnormalities, and micronucleus in 3 examinations. Results With the increase of age and duration of injury, the abnormal detection rate of Hb and RBC in radiographers increased (P <0.01). With the increase of age, the detection rate of lens opacity in radiation workers increased (P <0.01). The detection rate of abnormal RBC in female group was 23.65%, which was higher than that in male group (9.89%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The abnormal blood-table abnormalities of the radiological workers are mainly caused by the increase of RBC and Hb. The age and duration of injury have an impact on the examination results of Hb, RBC or eye lens, and the health management and protection of radiation workers should be strengthened.
