本刊1985年第一、二期连续刊登了《对于改良增广设计的三种校正方法及其与平衡格子方设计比较的模拟研究》一文之后,读者很希望能够介绍一些有关具体使用改良的增广设计和格子方设计的方法.为此,我们特意约请北京师范学院生物系的郭平仲副教授撰写了《改良的增广设计及其应用》和《平衡格子方设计及其应用》两篇文章,行将陆续发表.这里首先登载的《改良的增广设计及其应用》一文,通俗易懂,实际可用,能够帮助育种工作者在有限的人力物力条件下提高试验的科学性.我们谨向工作繁忙中为本刊读者热心服务的郭平仲副教授致以诚挚的谢意.编者
