如何充分发挥基层图书馆的作用

作为公共文化建设的重要组成部分的基层图书馆,近年来在各级党委、政府的支持下,各地图书馆如雨后春笋般建设起来。但就整体而言,目前基层图书馆的建设还相对滞后,还存在着有馆无书或管理不善等多种问题。多数图书室缺少必要的图书和设备,有的仅有几百册书籍,并且大部分图书陈旧、落后,难以满足广大群众的阅读需要。因此,基层图书馆要亟待加强建设和发展。

The grassroots libraries, as an important part of public cultural construction, have been built up by libraries around the country with the support of party committees and governments at all levels in recent years. However, as a whole, the construction of grassroots libraries is still lagging behind at present, and there are still many problems such as having no books or mismanagement in the museum. Most libraries lack the necessary books and equipment, some only a few hundred books, and most of the books are outdated and backward, making it difficult to meet the needs of the general public for reading. Therefore, grassroots libraries urgently need to strengthen their construction and development.
