据美刊〔轻金属时代〕1991年第8期报道,道式化学公司的一个分公司——道氏镁业公司宣称,它研制出了一种新的模铸镁合金AE42×1,并已投入工业生产.这种合金主要用于制造在高温下长期受到应力作用的构件.在176℃环境下工作的自动变速装置及其下盖部件是这种新型镁合金的主要应用场合.这种合金的成分如下:Al 3.5~4.5%,Mn 0.27%,稀土元素2.0~3.0%,Zn不超过0.20%,铁不超过0.004%,镍不超过0.004%,铜不超过0.04%,铍0.004~0.001%,其它杂质每种不超过0.01%,余量为镁.
According to the U.S. Journal of Light Metal Era (1991), No. 8 of 1991, Dow Chemical Company, a division of Dow Chemical Company, claims that it has developed a new type of die-cast magnesium AE42x1 and has invested Industrial production.
