Objective: To investigate and understand the mental health of officers and soldiers in a sea training department and analyze the influencing factors. Methods: The psychological health status of 212 officers and soldiers of sea training was assessed by using SCL-90 and STAI. Results: Except horror, somatization and psychosis, the scores of SCL-90 in sea training officers and soldiers were significantly lower than those in Chinese youth (P <0.01). Different military ages, different positions, whether or not one-child, economic status of different families, educational level, political outlook and their parents have a certain degree of impact on the mental health level of officers and soldiers of sea training. There was a significant positive correlation between the status of officers and soldiers at sea training and trait anxiety scores and SCL-90 scores (P <0.01). Conclusion: The overall level of psychological health of officers and soldiers in sea training is better.
