1.从萱草根中提取的組分,对結核菌有强力制菌作用,其有效成分与抗血吸虫成分不同,溶于乙醚,具耐热性,故加热后可破坏其毒性成分,而保留其疗效。 2.萱Ⅲ对敏感与耐受常用抗結核药的結核菌株有同样的制菌力,制菌浓度在1:160,000~1:640,000之間,加血清后,制菌力降至原先活力的1/4。結核菌H_(37)Rv株与1:20,000浓度的萱Ⅲ接触3日后,細菌生活力与致病力显著减低,接触7日,細菌全部死亡。但同一浓度的萱Ⅲ并不引起結核菌形态的改变。 3.初步发現,萱草乙醚浸膏对豚鼠实驗性結核病,萱Ⅲ对小白鼠实驗性結核病均有减輕病变的作用,但尚不够显著。 4.未見萱Ⅲ引致实驗动物視神經萎縮和肢体瘫痪等严重毒性,且对动物的造血系統、肝、腎等脏器无毒性反应。
