平遥古城是我国保存最为完好的四大古城之一,也是我国第二批历史文化名城,其始建于西周时期,有着悠久的历史和深厚的文化底蕴。它位于我山西省太原盆地西南处,是典型的中国古代北方建筑群。
The ancient city of Pingyao is one of the four oldest preserved cities in China and also the second batch of historical and cultural cities in China. It was originally built in the Western Zhou Dynasty and has a long history and profound cultural heritage. It is located in the southwestern Taiyuan Basin, Shanxi Province, China. It is a typical ancient Chinese architectural complex in the north.
