赤霉病是我省小麦的重要病害,在闽西北山区是影响小麦产量的主要因素之一。六十年代中期以前,小麦赤霉病较轻,育种工作重点放在抗锈上,对赤霉病的研究较少。六十年代后期,小麦秆锈病基本控制,但随感赤霉病改良品种的扩大种植,赤霉病危害日益突出。1973年全省普遍发生,闽西北大幅度减产,重者绝收。1983年全省大流行,闽南平原危害尤重,病穗率高达80-100%,减产过半,有的社队颗粒无收,造成严重缺粮缺种。实践证明,选用抗病品种是克服赤
Fusarium head blight is an important disease of wheat in our province and one of the main factors affecting wheat yield in the mountainous area of northwest Fujian. Before the mid-1960s, wheat scab was less susceptible and the breeding work focused on rust resistance, with less research on scab.
