水稻的常规稻和杂交稻的育种研究,基本上仍以品种间间杂交为主,所选育出的新品种和新组合,在产量等主要经济性状上出现了徘徊状況,适应不了水稻生产进一步发展的需求. 多年来育种界提出利用籼稻与粳稻亚种间的杂种优势的设想,并进行了大量的试验研究.由于结实率和稳定性等方面的问题至今得不到理想的解决,这一设想尚无法在生产上大面积加以直接利用. 近年来我们利用组织培养等生物技术,将籼粳稻亚种间杂种一代F_1的优势加以部分地稳定,已培育成功籼粳型水稻新品种“金优1号”.它的选育过程是,1987年早季进行籼粳稻杂交:金早4号×金粳1号(两个亲本都是我所选育的新品种).1987年晚季种植杂种
