1991年11月召开的党的十三届八中全会,专门就进一步加强农业和农村工作作出了重要决定。农村卫生是农村工作的组成部分,它的主要任务是提高广大农民群众的健康水平,保护农业劳动力。因此,农村卫生工作搞得好不好,关系到农业生产的发展,关系到我省4600万农民群众的身体健康和子孙万代的幸福,关系到小康目标的实现。各级政府一定要把加强农村卫生工作,发展农村卫生事业,提高到贯彻落实党的十三届八中全会精神的高度来认
The Eighth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Party Congress held in November 1991 specifically decided to further strengthen agricultural and rural work. Rural health is an integral part of rural work. Its main task is to improve the health level of the majority of peasants and protect the agricultural labor force. Therefore, the rural health work is done well, it is related to the development of agricultural production, it is related to the physical health of the 46 million peasants in our province and the happiness of children and generations, and it is related to the realization of a well-off goal. Governments at all levels must recognize the importance of strengthening rural health work, developing rural health undertakings, and improving the spirit of implementing the Eighth Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Central Committee.
