With the mass production of monoclonal antibodies (mAb), new immunocytochemical technologies are emerging. Now this new technology has been introduced from histological sections to hemocytochromes. This undoubtedly helps to raise awareness of leukocyte function and differentiation and to help diagnose and categorize blood diseases. The authors immunized mice with indirect immunoperoxidase (horseradish peroxidase-conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig) and with alkaline phosphatase VII and anti-alkaline phosphatase (APAAP) complex enzyme produced by the hybridoma technique
