High modulus fibers, especially carbon fibers and glass fibers, have been used in a variety of automotive products. Fiber reinforced structure is a typical example, such as shock absorbers and load-bearing components. The demand for high modulus fibers in the automotive industry is likely to continue to increase. Scientific and technical literature analyzes the role of such fibers in the transportation industry, especially in the automotive industry, but economic views are relatively rare. Use common economic analysis methods to illustrate the potential of such materials to fill gaps in this area. In addition to the current applications, it is expected that high modulus fibers will become a common material for the automotive industry in the future to reduce costs.
