“单班真难教”,很多熟悉单班小学情况的人都会有类似这样的感觉.一个人要同时掌握三四班的教学活动,又必须要使每一班每一个儿童都有工作,确实是不很容易的.自动作业,对年级较高的学生来说,没有多大困难,但在低年级儿童却是一件难事。低年级学生年纪小,注意力不能持久,因此,掌握很困难。同时,单班学校从学生入校後直到散学回家,教师必须上课、准备、照顾儿童、处理偶发事项;散学後,学生的课卷又等待处理;此外还须进行家庭访问、备课、学习、处理杂务等等,所有的工作都集中在一个人身上。工作多,时间紧,这是不言而喻的。我们辅导区内的四个单班小学(包括一个私校),过去的情况与上述大致相同。如孙郑小学陈炳麟老师,由於本身文化水平较低(只有高小程度),教学上缺少方法,因而工作情绪很不安定。每到学期末,他总要求调到多级小学去工作。但在本学期,情况有了改变.他的备课工作、课堂教学和课堂秩序,都有了很大的改进,从而他的工作情绪比较稳定,工作信心也逐渐加强了。组织起来研究教学是转变与改进的关键。陈老师说:“通过了本学期的教学研究组,提高了我的教学水平,也加强了我的工作信心。”现在把我们刘港辅导区单班教学研究组的成长与壮大,简略地介绍一下,供大家参考。端正认识、树立信心一九五三年上半年,刘港辅导区的单班教师参加了混合组成的语文教学研究组,由于研究的问题不完全适用於单班教学,教师们在研究中总是提不起劲。一九五三年下半年,我们全辅导区教师根据班级情况,分别组织了教学研究组。大家认为单班的教师们在一起研究,对单班学校中存在的问题,就比较容易获得适当的解决,因此大家的情绪是相当高的。但是组织单班教学研究组,并不是没有困难
