“解放区邮票”是中国邮票中的瑰宝,是珍贵的历史文物和档案资料,它在中国人民革命战争中的特定条件下产生,从一个侧面真实地记载了中国革命的发展历程,生动地记录下了许多重大的历史事件,显现了毛泽东等老一辈革命家的光辉形象,描绘出一幅幅波澜壮阔、光彩夺目的中国革命历史画卷,并成为历史的见证。据统计,自1930年发行解放区最早的赣西南赤色邮政邮票到1950年7月停止出售解放区邮票,全国各地共发行解放区邮票2239种,经我市集邮爱好者徐力同志多方考证,内有二套邮票由我青州市人王顺堂先生设计,从而为青州市邮政史写下了光荣的一页。
