An optical fiber positioning system which can be used in multi-objective optical fiber telescope with large sky area (LAMOST) is presented. It can reposition 4,000 optical fibers in minutes and offers a host of benefits of real-time compensation for errors caused by temperature and other factors, low manufacturing and operating costs.
