早就听说女排新秀诸韵颖是个美丽、可爱的女孩子。在北京,大嘴见到了这位小有名气的二传手。柔和的脸庞、清秀的眉眼,诸韵颖身上那种江南特有的甜美让人很难和历来以“拼”著称的女排联系起来。训练结束后,在略带吴侬软语韵味的普通话和开朗的笑声中,我们开始了分外轻松愉快的交谈。——听说你小时候学习很好,你怎么会放弃学业来做运动员了呢?△其实从小我就喜欢体育、在小学时曾在业余体校打过篮球。本来我父母最大的愿望是让我去读书,后来有一位叫陈嘉男的老教练跟我妈说,我肯定有希望打入国家队。我妈有点儿犹像,因为当时我在上海市第12中学(市重点校)读书,学习成绩挺好的,高中可以保送,然后再保送到上海交大,前景是比较好的。但当时中国女排在人们的心目中地位很高,形象很好。于是妈妈在经过再三的考虑后决定支持我打排球。当时我说:“只要让我打球,我什么球都打。”因为同时上海女篮也让我去。但我妈说:“打排球行,打篮球可不让你去!”
