What is the relationship between primary school children's literature and primary school Chinese education? This question apparently did not arouse the concern of domestic Chinese education. However, this is a very real problem in the course reform in the new century. The new Chinese Curriculum Standards of the Ministry of Education clearly states: “Chinese courses should be devoted to the formation and development of students' Chinese literacy.” The formation of Chinese literacy is a subtle process, to a considerable extent, influenced by literature. Primary school children are generally 6 to 12 years of age. Due to their physiological and psychological age characteristics and the level of education, children's reading comprehension for this age group is mostly children's literature - fairy tales, fables, stories, science fiction and cartoons. Excellent children's literature is popular among children because of its subtle and vivid language, clear and concise theme, rich story and interest. Therefore, there is a necessary relationship between children's literature and Chinese education in primary schools, which should become an important part of Chinese education in primary schools.
