高年级数学教学的核心任务是重塑学生的学习自信心,夯实学生的基础知识,进一步培养学生的自主学习和探究能力,使不同的学生在数学上得到不同的发展。教师要努力改进自己的教学方法,以适应高年级学生心理的需要。通过创设情境、谈话交流、小组探究、实验与演示等多种途径调动学生的主观能动性,激发他们的参与意识,让学生真正参与到课堂中来,获得丰富的情感体验,从中掌握基本的数学知识与技能、数学思想方法,获得基本的数学活动经验。
