根据具体工作环境,对测汞用的标准液和地面水(包括海水)样品提出不同的保存方法:仅在实验室内使用的标准液可以用液——固保存剂5%硝酸+0.05%重铬酸钾,含汞0.05微克/毫升的标准使用液在玻璃瓶中最少可保存3个月不变;需要在野外复杂环境采样的地面水(包括海水)样品宜用固体保存剂0.5%硝酸钾,含汞0.1—1.0微克/升的河水在聚乙烯瓶中最少可保存30天不变。聚乙烯瓶可以用5%硝酸钾溶液洗涤,浸洗5小时,对汞污染的洗脱率可达90—98%。
