长江流域七省市是我国汽车工业最发达的地区之一。该地区汽车工业的状况和特点,基本能够反映出我国汽车工业的特点。目前,该地区汽车工业发展迅速,但产品结构和组织结构各有不同;汽车企业的经济规模和专业化水平有所提高,跨地区协作也正在发展;汽车制造企业和零部件企业的内制率逐年下降,零部件工业中“小巨人”企业已开始出现;该地区汽车企业积极推进改革,现代企业制度在逐渐形成。目前整车市场已呈现卖方寡占竞争,但不太稳定,零部件市场形成了一定程度的买方优势。
