On May 20, 2006, co-sponsored by the Fisheries Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture, China Fisheries Command Center and the Three Gorges Reservoir Department, the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute, Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government, Hubei Provincial Aquatic Management Office and the Yangtze River Fishery Resources Management Committee jointly co-hosted the project.
