Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) is a malignant disease of the hematopoietic system. Clinical leukocytosis and splenomegaly are common in the peripheral blood. Splenomegaly account for 95% of the patients, while those with non-swelled cards are rare [1–2]. Our hospital has treated 7 cases of CML patients without splenomegaly at the time of initial diagnosis since 1984, and splenomegaly was confirmed by physical examination and abdominal ultrasound. This article made a preliminary clinical analysis of these 7 cases of CML.
