Ben Kanxun Since autumn 2009, the continuous drought in the five southwestern provinces of our country has resulted in a serious drought that hit the world in a hundred years, seriously affecting the drinking water for human and livestock and agricultural production in the drylands. In order to fully understand the impact of drought on the flower industry in Yunnan Province and seek scientific and technological countermeasures against drought and relief, the expert group for the implementation of nonprofit industry (flower) research with China Agricultural University as the chief unit went to Yunnan for field trips from April 2-4.
