目前絕大部分高等學校都有了教研組和教學小組,一般教師對於這些教學組織的作用也有一定的瞭解;而且像中國人民大學等高等學校,在這方面已經取得了相當的成績,並獲得不少成功的經驗。但是,也還有些高等學校的教師對教研組認識不足,甚至在思想上還不能完全接受。這樣就妨礙了教研組工作進一步的展開,並使教學改革工作不易推進。教師們對教研組和集體教學還存在著一些什麼問題呢?我想有這樣幾個問題需要提出來加以研究。首先是對教研組的重要性及其性質和任務缺乏明確的認識。有的人把教研組理解為「接力」的組織,因而把一種課程分成幾個單元,教研組的成員每人講一個單元,彼此之間沒有聯繫,也不研究,甚至連某些學術名詞符號都不統一,他們認為這就是集體教學,這就是教研組的活動內容。有的人認為教研組是單純的分工問題,因此,把教研組的工作機械地分一分,有人編講義,有人輔導,有人管實驗,有人講課,至於互相之間的工作情況彼此都不瞭解。還有人把系的工作同教研組的工作對立起來,認為加強教研組的工作,系的工作就得垮臺,系主任就不好做了;同時系本身所領導各個教研組,也常常造成對立的局面;還有少數人認為教研室要領導幾個教研組,教研組領導幾個教學小
