深部严重真菌感染主要见于那些因原发疾病及/或应用广谱抗菌素和免疫抑制剂后引起抗感染机能受损伤的病人。本文报告1例白色念珠菌脑膜脑炎应用5-氟胞嘧啶(5-Fc)后获得治愈。患者男性,60岁,1974年8月入院。一年前由于癌及息肉行乙状结肠造口术,术后并发腹部脓肿、小肠穿孔和葡萄球菌败血症而用过多种抗菌素。至1973年末,患者仅偶有头疼。1974年夏出现精神行为显著变化,易激动,头疼严重且呈持续性,7月10日脑脊液细胞数中性145,单核86。
